An original double sided watercolor and ink sketchbook painting featuring two expressive studies of a tree. The loose line work and soft watercolor washes capture the texture and atmosphere of this woodland specimen along the Black River trail in Upstate New York.

Because it came from a sketchbook this work is one double sided page and possess the character of creases and wear. It would look lovely in a floating frame so that the collector can switch back and forth whenever they choose.

Prints of both of these will be available soon, and an original large scale canvas is in the works for one of them.
